CES2012-Gefen推出GAVA家庭自動化控制系統

Gefen為著名的A/V視聽周邊設備製造商，在本次2012國際消費性電子展中首次展示了他們新的GAVA家庭自動化控制系統，正式踏入家庭自動化控制的領域。

   

新的GAVA自動化控制系統包括了GAVA處理器與兩款控制主機，專業型的自動化控制系統(PACS)和Mini PACS，差異在於其不同的I/O設定功能，皆提供RS232、IP和紅外線控制和繼電器控制功能。

   

 PACS可以與A/V視聽設備和控制系統集中安裝於機架上，在使用到分散式架構時則可以使用Mini PACS系統，當連接到家用網路時，GAVA處理器額外增加PACS控制功能。

   

 雖然上述說明僅侷限於硬體設備，但GAVA系統實際來說是一項軟體產品，使用GAVA系統可以在PACS和Mini PACS系統中建立WEB瀏覽功能，使用者可以透過WEB瀏覽器在智慧手機、平板電腦、具上網功能的行動裝置與家用電腦上控制視聽和家庭自動化設備，Gefen也提供易於使用的設定工具。

   

Gefen所提供的GAVA系統解決方案雖然與Global Cache和Bitwise大同小異，但於其他同樣使用WEB瀏覽器控制功能的控制系統相比，Gefen提供更大的內存記憶體，與提供更多影音串流功能與內容管理功能。Gefen的Orrin Charm表示：你不需要額外的程式設計，你只要告訴她你所使用的產品即可。

   

目前Gefen的GAVA系統的硬體產品僅能使用它們自己的軟體，但往後將會允許第三方的軟體開發者開發其他的應用程式對於A/V視聽設備與家庭控制設備的應用。
